Eine Frankfurter Konditoren-Spezialität mit Rosenwasser verfeinert! Die Geschichte der Bethmännchen begann 1838 im Hause der angesehenen Bankiersfamilie Bethmann. Sie wurden damals noch mit 4 Mandeln für die 4 Söhne verziert. Als einer von ihnen verstarb, wurde das halbkugelförmige Marzipangebäck fortwährend nur noch mit 3 Mandeln verziert und im Ofen gebacken. Bis heute sind sie immer noch in aller Munde.
