A confectioner`s specialty from the city of Frankfurt, refined with rose water. The history of "Bethmännchen" began in 1838 in the house of the renowned banking family Bethmann. The "Bethmännchen" cookies were decorated with 4 almonds that represented the 4 sons. After the death of one of the sons, the number of almonds was reduced to three. This is how the "Bethmännchen" still look like today. The little masterpieces are presented in a high-quality wooden giftbox depicting the Frankfurt Römer.
